And you know the interesting thing about Alice's dream is that I always considered it to have really happened...in a symbolic way. The Frabjousness between her and our Tarrant was obviously kindled in the movie...so by the time she had the dream in the book, she was connected to him (at least on a subconscious level). The destruction of Mamoreal (and the others) and the "resurrection" of the Jabberwocky was to symbolize the destruction of that timeline...
