7. Alan Grant/Ellie Sattler, Jurassic Park



Yeah, it's as old as the dinosaurs, but it is fitting, isn't it? LOL I know in the book they weren't together and the last two movies will, um, didn't work to their favor either, but I loved them in Jurassic Park. So I'll live in a nice little AU where they lived happily ever after. :D

6. Jacob Hood/Rachel Young, Eleventh Hour



I loved their interaction. It was great. Hood's calmness complimented her kick butt attitude perfectly. They might not have been making goo-goo eyes at each other all episode long, but you knew there was a profound respect there. :D

5. Link/Princess Zelda, Legend of Zelda



Disclaimer: I am a geek. That being said...aren't they so cute? I'm a sucker for "bound by fate" kind of story and that pretty much fits LoZ.  But seriously, my love for them grew after reading some really good fanfic. It added some great backstory to the characters. 

4. John Sheppard/Teyla Emmagan, Stargate: Atlantis



The last two seasons were a bummer, but the UST-y goodness of seasons 1-3 made up for that. I loved their playfulness and ease around each other. I guess it helps that the first episode I watched was "Sateda" which to me is one of the shippiest J/T episodes.

3. Fox Mulder/Dana Scully, The X-Files



This ship was MY ship for years. I read thousands (literally) of fanfic...my first posted fanfic was a MSR. I love them. The UST, the chemistry, the everything. :D

2. Jean-Luc Picard/Beverly Crusher, Star Trek: The Next Generation



My OTP, my first ship. I will keep "Attached" (except the last scene LOL) and "All Good Things..." always close to me. I loved the friendshipy goodness that was always shown between the two of them,

1. Master Chief/Cortana, Halo



See number 5 for my disclaimer. Yeah, another video game couple. Deal with it. LOL I've been on a Halo kick for a while or else this ship would have taken the number two spot. I love the interaction between the two of them...talk about a yin yang relationship. But it's the understanding and appreciation of each other that I enjoy the most.

So, what have we learned, other than I am a geek?

I guess I'm a sucker for ships that have an "exclusive" feel to them...and all of them are rooted in a solid friendship...no raging horomones here. I guess it's a reflection of how I see love...Babe and I have always been each others' best friends. *shrugs* Or maybe I'm getting waaaaaay to analytical over some TV, movie and video game characters ;)

I only know four out of seven (I had to delete the first one as I cannot count and don't know how to edit these :P), and only really know John and Teyla, but that one is made of awesome :D ;)
