Yuletide Letter
Howdy and welcome!
First of all, thank you for offering to write for one of my fandoms. I know all three of them are rather rare, some more than others. So 1,000 word nugget of goodness is awesome. So, again, THANK YOU. Anything you write will be appreciated greatly by me. :D :D
A little about each fandom...
Halo
It is my favoritest fandom. (Were themillion dozens of icons not clue enough? LOL) If you manage to get Cortana in the fic, I would have to send you a batch of virtual cookies. And if it has a Chief/Cortana slant, I WOULD LOVE YOU FOREVER. Characterization is a big thing. If you have read the novels, I think Eric Nylund has the best characterization of John. Ever.
Jurassic Park
As long as it has Ellie and Alan, I'm a happy camper. I would love seeing them in a relationship. It would be great having it take place before the first movie, right after or going AU with the third movie (i.e. Ellie not being married). And I am not a paleontologist, so no need to worry about official dinosaur names or anything, LOL.
Toy Story
A Buzz and Woody adventure would be epic. Seriously. I don't mind if there are little hints to pairings (I don't really care about the particulars), but I don't know if I could handle any smut. I would forever be blushing when I watch the movie with my kids. LOL
The Other Details
Yup, I'm boring: I would prefer not having slash or smut. I know, booooooring, but I typically stay in the gen/UST sandbox most of the time. (With the exception of a few pairings)
Yeah, I know my characters: Characterization is awesome. I would rather have an in-character story about something mundane (like "What pizza should we order?") than a epic!plot that has everyone OOC.
Yes, I am a dreamer: AUs are perfectly awesome by me. :D :D
Aye, I appreciate humor: I am super sarcastic so I appreciate quick wit and cleverness. Bonus points if you manage to weave some snark in your story.
Have fun and look around if you want to get a gauge on the type of person I am. But, really, I will appreciate anything you write and I hope you have fun writing it! Thanks again!
