Ramblings of a Fangirl

It's Tuesday which is my "let's see how (little) progress I've made on my cross-stitch" day...

Now, I know what some of you are thinking: Isn't that exactly the same picture she posted last week? NO! It has a chimney now! And part of a tree! And more sky!  Yeah...that's why projects this size take me several years months.

The big bang story is...er, lacking.  I wrote a part for it, have some scribbled in a notebook, but now I am really considering not going with a first person POV (I love Flynn and all, but I don't think I can think like him for 25k words.), especially since my latest Tangled!fic endeavor flowed out of me like roaring rapids. Or something of epic proportions like that.  If I rework what I have into a 3rd person POV, I think I'll have...about 1-2k words. (In other words, like 4-8% done.) But I'm not panicking yet. Really.

Oh, and I have found a new love: post-it notes.  Yup, these guys.  For someone who obsessively writes lists/notes/random thoughts in countless notebooks, these small little squares of awesomeness are a godsend!  I can just stick the note to my computer where it siliently reminds me I have other things to do other than sitting in front of my laptop.  Hmmm, maybe they aren't so great after all.

Hahaha...my computer used to be papered with post-its.

I support your switch to 3rd pov. I find it writes itself much more quickly than 1st pov too. Do what works best for you rather than slugging it out.
