A little help...

So, is there anyone out there willing to beta a Halo story for me? Chief/Cortana friendship...about 1.5k or so words (I haven't finished it yet)...you don't *have* to know First Stike (though, it would give you a little bit of background)...just looking for someone to point out obvious grammar mistakes and point out when I use the same word over and over (which I have a tendency to do, LOL)

Oh...the other story I was talking about is my big bang story which is going to be about 25k, but not done until August. This is just another story sitting on my hard drive.

If you're interested in betaing this one too, that would be fabulous. I don't even have the story done yet, so there is no timeline or anything like that.

About this? When things settle down with work and you get some rest, if you want to beta, drop me a line and I'll send it your way. If not, that's ok. Most of my stuff gets posted unbeta'd so it's no big deal. :D

My husband's going away tomorrow and though my mom's in the hospital again and I'm fantastically worried about her, I definitely won't mind something to take my mind off stuff. So yes, I'd be happy to beta for you if you still need that done. :)
