I've been thinking about 9/11 all day.

I was putting my daughter down for a nap at home(about 2 pm UK time) & turned on the TV briefly before I did so. The first plane had just hit first tower & at that stage there was speculation it was a small plane, a lear jet or something. I continued watching in growing horror until the second plane hit. I was in tears and couldn't believe what I was seeing. All those people died while I was trying to do something completely normal like getting my daughter off to sleep. I was doubly worried as well as my sister in law lives very close to the twin towers & worked somewhere near by. We couldn't get through to her all day & we were sick with worry. Also my husband was flying home from Dubai (the last plane to leave there) so I worried about him too.

This day will never be forgotten. We who are proud of our freedoms will never bow down to terrorists.
