Day 18: Whatever tickles my fancy (again)
Um, er, yeah...I got nothing. :P
( 11 Days to Go )
Well, I never said it was going to be 30 Days in a row.
Day 17: An art piece
I'm not that interested in art, unless it's something my daughters have drawn. My mom made an awesome ribbon woman, but alas, it's up at her house and there is no way for me to post that here...so I'll post the only print we have hanging in our house:
No surprise for those who know me. It's the Thomas Kinkade painting he did for Disneyland's 50th anniversary.
( 13 Days to Go )
Day 16: A song that makes you cry (or nearly)
This song totally bummed me out everytime I heard it when the oldest's daughter was in her Pixar stage when I was pregnant. But the little one was born, postpartem blues hit and *bam* the waterworks flowed.

Day 15: A fanfic (I'm using the same setup as Day 14...sorry it's a day late)
Like the last one I read? For Her; For Him by Marine Corps 117 Halo-fic, Chief/Cortana and really, really good. :)
Or perhaps my favorite? That's too difficult, but here are some choices from different fandoms that I like:
The Kindling by Gater101, SGA, Carson goodness
Straight Shooter by crazygurlmadness, Legend of Zelda, Link/Zelda
The Other Man by Jess (not me, LOL), X-Files, Mulder/Scully friendship <3 this story
Or maybe the one I've read the most? That would be Foreplay by ruby_caspar, SGA, John/Teyla USt
Or the one I am currently reading? Ummmm....none. I'm trying to work on writing some stories of my own right now. You know, with my five free minutes of time a time...LOL
( 15 Days to Go )
Like the last one I read? That would be Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey
Or perhaps my favorite? That would be The Bible
Or maybe the one I've read the most? That would be Everything and a Kite by Ray Romano (nope, don't like the show, but the book made me LOL, literally)
Or the one I am currently reading? That would be Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis
( 16 Days to Go )
Like the last one I read? That would be Dominant Species (ok, not great...good sci-fi story, not so great in character development)
Or perhaps my favorite? That would be The Fall of Reach (but you guys already know that)
Or maybe the one I've read the most? That would be Q-Squared (for which I am forever grateful to

Or the one I am currently reading? That would be The Complete Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (which will take me a while to get through...did I mention that I love my Kindle? LOL)
( 17 Days to Go )Day 30 Whatever tickles your fancy

And, that, my friends, would be the Old Spice commercial...it's so freakin' funny. Love it! :D Advertising genius, I tell you! :D :D
( 18 Days to Go )
This is one of the most recent pictures I've taken. For about two weeks, I've been making stuffed animals, which has been a lot of fun. :D In the picture there is a giraffe, a snake, a lamb, a hedgehog (my favorite), a bunny and a duck. :D
( 21 Days to Go )
Well, I got the ball rollin' when I talked about my favorite TV shows and have been in a Dirty Jobs mood since. *points at icon* A short promo clip with all of Mike's antics:

There is absolutely no way I can pick only one. I love quotes. Seriously. I'm always trying to find awesome quotes and love it when I do. Here are some of my favs:
Time is what we want most, but what we use worst. --William Penn
It's kind of fun to do the impossible. --Walt Disney
Better a witty fool than a foolish wit. --William Shakespeare
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. --Albert Einstein
You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream. --C. S. Lewis
The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing. --Walt Disney
Against the assault of laughter nothing can stand. --Mark Twain
Thinking is the enemy of creativity. It's self-conscious...You can't try to do things. You simply must do things. --Ray Bradbury
Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile. --Albert Einstein
It is the job that is never started that takes longest to finish. -- J.R.R. Tolkien
You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body. --C. S. Lewis (probably my fav of my fav)
All you need is ignorance and confidence and the success is sure. --Mark Twain
Try not to become a man of success but rather to become a man of value. --Albert Einstein
Procrastination is something best put off until tomorrow. ~Gerald Vaughan
Everything that can be counted does not necessarily count; everything that counts cannot necessarily be counted. --Albert Einstein
A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new. --Albert Einstein
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. --Matthew 7:7-8
Humor is the great thing, the saving thing after all. The minute it crops up, all our hardnesses yield, all our irritations, and resentments flit away, and a sunny spirit takes their place. --Mark Twain
Yeah, I'm sure there are a ton more, but I've written too many already. :P
( 25 Days to Go )
Non-fiction: The Bible. No surprise for those who know me, LOL. It was the first book I got on my Kindle and I've read through it at least four times. Love the prophesies, love the Word, love the hope.
Fiction: Too many to list? Seriously, I read more often than most people breathe, LOL. But my current favorites are The Complete Sherlock Holmes Collection and The Fall of Reach.
19th century mysteries, a book about a video game and a book that is the cornerstone of the Christian faith...yup, my taste in books is about as eclectic as my taste in music...LOL
( 26 days to go... )
Well, I've got two. Good Eats with my favorite geek Alton Brown and Dirty Jobs because Mike Rowe is so freakin' funny. I know, most of you thought I would say SGA or ST:TNG...or maybe even Fringe and XF. But, you know, I like to keep people on their toes. I have a tendency to like shows with no plots (or disappointing PTB) which would explain why Food Network or the Discovery Channel is on if I can get the TV from the little ones. :D :D
( 27 Days to Go )
I'm not a big movie person...I have my dozen or so that stay on my Movies for Life list and that's about it. But, if I had to pick one, it would have to be Lord of the Rings. (Ok, is that cheating because it's three? If I had to pick out one of those, it would be Fellowship of the Ring.)
It has my favorite fictional character of all time, Sam. Sean Astin played him so awesomely. Actually, all the casting was absolutely brilliant. The locations/sets were incredible. The score is wonderful. And Peter Jackson and Co. took the movie seriously. They added so many details from the book...it was great. (Yeah, yeah, yeah--they changed some stuff, but it flows with the movie.)
Now I've gotta go find my DVDs...

Day 1: Favorite Song
Er, I don't have one. Really. I live for soundtracks and I have so many that I couldn't choose one. But I'll pick out the most played song on my iPod...well, the one with words anyway...
