Tried to write a Tangled fic.  It was 700 words of angst and sadness. Fic, meet virtual trashcan.  (OK, this is not true. I save everything I write because I'm obsessive like that.)

I did manage to come up with all the chapter titles and hit 50k words (say what?) on the Halo Fic That Will Never Be Finished. Seriously, it shouldn't be much more than that unless Babe reads it and tells me that my action scenes need to be expanded (He will. I have the amazing ability to turn a fifteen minute firefight into a three paragraph snooze fest). I've been moving parts around, editing the crap out of them, and adding fragmented sentences for dramatic effect.

Of course, then it's like, "Was the original better?" or "Does it totally seem like I dropped these eight paragraphs in from another chapter?", etc.  Seriously, Babe needs to start editing this so I'm not tempted to keep tweaking things.

I need to get my mind off this fic but my inspiration to write anything else is like my love for coffee: non-existent.

Oh well, my cross-stitch needs attention anyway. :P
