Heh.
Another glimpse into the Jess household:

Me: Look what my friend Cazz sent me. *holds up Patrick Stewart pic while flailing*
Mike: That's too cool. How do you know all these people anyway?
Me: I told you, the internet. You do remember talking with people through that, don't you?
Mike: Ha ha...And you know people from...
Me: Outside the US? Well, the ones I talk to the most are from Scotland, England, Japan, The Netherlands, and Croatia.
Mike: So you guys are like the International Fangirl League.
Me: You've got it.

I love my husband.

LOL, Mike is too funny. I think he's amazed at the fact I know so many people in different countries. It's great because our little wall of Christmas cards has all these cards from other countries. Lots of fun.

And yeah. I think an icon proclaiming the existance of the International Fangirl League is coming soon! LOL

ETA: Told you so.

*G* Woooot! That actually sounds like conversations with my husband, who is eternally perplexed by how fandom works. "But why would she get us JF's autograph? *headscratchning* Well it is sort of cool."

Also!!! Your card arrived! YAY! *squishes you* It's adorable!

Well, Mike is familar with conventions. We actually met for the first time at an X-Files convention. Yes, really. But I don't think he had any idea that was still such a fangirl online. LOL

And yay!! I'm glad it got there!! :D :D **hugs**

Wow! Did you tell me that before? I don't think you told me before how you guys met. That is awesome!

The thing is, Mr. nuna thinks Internet is very very weird and before we met he didn't know you cana ctually befriend people from all around the world, like this. *hugs you*

I don't know if I told you before...It was back in '96 when geeks were just starting to take over the internet, ROFL. Anyway, there was a huge group from the X-Files AOL chat room and a bunch of them (including me) went to the convention. I only knew a couple of people and was introduced to the rest of the gang (which is when I met Mike).

After the con, we all became buddies (they were about, oh, 25 or so of us). Mike and I would talk online every Friday night when the X-Files was on. Then, Yvonne, one of the ladies had a Christmas party and invited the whole group (plus a few people from the show). Mike was there and I went there with my sister...and the rest is history.

(Well, kind of, LOL. A little time passed before we actually started dating, but that totally set things in motion. :D )

And international buddies are the bestest! :D *hugs back*

LOL! We are the international Fangirl League! It's become so every-day for me I don't even think about it when the family is all O.o about my international friends :D

*points to icon* Why, yes, yes we are! LOL

I think he's surpised because when he was into the XF fandom back in the day (read: 14 years ago) most of the fans were in the US...I think he's most excited that I know people from Scotlnad because he has convinced himself that he is a Scot. ROFL

You must be one of them. ;)

Bahahaha!

Mike knows about my fic writing...I'm always typing away on something or jotting notes in my millions of notebooks but I don't think he realized how many people I talk to online. LOL

Some day I'll let him sift through my feedback/friends folder on my email account, but not for a while. ROFL

There is a moment in 'Friends' when Phoebe says 'Oh Mike', and I think that is perfectly fitting here, lol.
