Meme time!
Oh memes, what would I do without you?  Snagged from [livejournal.com profile] oparu

Ask me fandom-related questions. They can be fandom specific, general, or about fandom/lj stuff/fic writing/etc. in general. Questions can be as wacky as you want. Ask me about tv shows, books, characters, kinks, fanfic in general, fandom issues/meta, anything about any of my stories specifically. Whatever you've always wanted to know.

ETA: Yup, another mood theme. Food.  Dude. Food! My Food Network lovin' heart is dancing for joy right now!

1. What fandom do you think will always be with you?
2. Who has the best breasts?
3. Do you 'see' things as you write them or 'hear' the dialogue?

1. Er, this is a hard one. My gut reaction is to say Halo because it's the fandom I care the most about (I stress about the canon the most, I write the most for it, etc.). But, in a broader scope, I would probably say Stargate: Atlantis because I have met some folks through the fandom that are incredibly awesome and have become my buddies. (The same could be said about Alice in Wonderland to a lesser extent.)

2. Hmmm, well, I'm going to probably have to go with Claudia Black because she's got just about the best everything. (And let's not get started on her hair. Gah, her hair. ♥)

3. Oh, I am a dialogue junkie. I never see my scenes which is probably why my descrptions are terribly lacking.

That and I'm a very logical writer so when I describe something like a building I'll say. "The building was seven stories tall. The reflective windows covered the outside except for the door on the bottom level." Totally not interesting and terribly bad writing.

So I fall back on the tried and true mathod of having my characters do the explaining for me! "Cortana craned her neck and shielded her eyes from the reflective windows' harsh glare. 'I hope you've stayed in shape, John. Climbing seven flights of stairs is going to be difficult, even for a Spartan,' she teased as he approached the front door."

Thanks for the questions...I guess you brought out the talker in me today, ROFL.

1. SGA had/has a lovely fandom. awesome people in that.

2. hee hee, excellent choice!! She is all sorts of gorgeous.

3. that kind of description through the characters is brilliant though, and MUCH more fun than a block paragraph about architecture.
