All of my LJ entries have been imported (finally) to here! *does a happy dance* Now I don't have to worry about losing all of my fangirling goodness. Woot!
Mike and have been watching movies. (Or, more correctly, Mike's been watching to movies while I've been glancing at them as a cross stitch.)
We rented Unstoppable first. Obviously the director has watched Speed as many times as I have because, dude, some of the scenes were just like it except there was a train instead of a bus. That being said, it had practically none of the awesomeness of Speed. No epicness of Dennis Hopper, no awesomeness of Sandra Bullock, no whoaness of Keanu Reeves. Not even the decent looks of Chris Pine could save the movie. (Though Denzel Washington did have a couple of good lines.)
We got Tron Legacy last night. Let me break my overly critical tendencies to say what is good. The special effects. They were top notch. Now for the not-so-good: The story was long and, well, pretty darn predictable. I'm sure people who loved the original movie probably love the movie, but as for someone from the outside looking in, I thought it was ok.
Unstoppable gets a solid C- and Tron Legacy gets a...C+ (though the special effects might throw it to a B- if I'm feeling nice.)
Oh, and he watched The A-Team again. At least that once has enough explosions to keep me interested (though I still cross-stitched throughout the movie, LOL) and Liam Neeson is made of all kinds of awesome.
The big bang fics are slow going. I'm hand writing my Tangled fic (for now) and haven't touched the other two this week. I'm hoping I hit the 25k mark (seriously, what kind of mod comes up with the large of a number? LOL) with my plot. I'm suddenly worried that I'll end up with 15k and the story is over. LOL
