Promoting time!

Two days with my "I like crazy" icon...Summer insanity must be taking over my brain.

I signed up for another writing challenge...it's only a drabblethon! And it's a good thing because we know I can't possibly stay focused writing two big bang stories (in the same fandom no less) in a row without some kind of distraction! Now it's your turn to sign up!

I love challenges like these because I can write it whatever fandom I want. Is it bad that I already have a post-it note with random fandoms on it? I've got my Disney/Pixar movies, my video games, my TV shows, my cartoons and my movies from the 90s.

Dude, this is gonna be fun.

It's daily, though isn't it? I'd find it very daunting and probably just use it for my own LJ, which quite obviously they don't like. Naturally LOL

Yeah.. I am.. that's the problem XD I'd just use it as a prompt and do with it whatever the the hell I want and not for their thon :P

Well, they put a prompt per day, but you don't have to write it. It's kind of like, you write when the inspiration hits. I'll post there and link either a end of month recap on my writing journal...I'm gonna need something to break up the 50k words that are looming ahead of me. LOL

I knew it before, but it's just been reinstated: you're crazy. 50k?! I have trouble getting to 10!!! Only succeeded once :p Many attempts preceded and followed that one time LOL

Hmm.. I still need to think about this, because I do usually go from left to right with a prompt. Plus, I've never posted any of my fics on an open LJ comm. They scare me when it comes to fics :o

Okay, since I've already gotten you on board for one bit of trouble, I'm gonna run another idea by you. I've sorta almost talked myself into something mildly destructive. What would you think about a big bang challenge starting in January, which would be a Disney big bang? All Disney related fandoms welcome??

There is a

disneybigbang that was made July of '10, but it was never updated/created, so I don't think it would be a problem to run a Big Bang like that. Coming up with a name would probably be the most "difficult" part. disney_bigbang? epicdisneybb? LOL

Could you imagine the possibilities? I mean, dude...it could be epic. So Much Disney Awesomeness.

You know I'm so there. (And if you need any help, you know, again, I'm so there.)

I want this to happen. So badly.

Yeah, that comm is obviously a no-go. I'd poked around a little while ago and didn't find anything either.

*We* (you see that, I'm already roping you in) could limit it in some way, if we wanted. Disney animated films, let's say, but I dunno. It might be epic to just have it be a massive anything goes BB.

Yeah, we'd probably need to figure out what qualifies as Disney for this big bang purposes...Is it just the animation movies? (If so, does Pixar count?) If we decided to go with *any* Disney movie that would open it up to Touchstone Pictures, Pixar, Marvel, and Hollywood Pictures (Encino Man Big Bang story!! BAHAHAHA!!).

I think most people would probably stick with the animation side of things if we had the whole thing open (Though there were probably be at least a few PotC sign ups.)

I'm totally game to whatever! :D :D

It is a very good thing that it's not until January...I'm just impatient ;)

I've got the six big bang stories (only one that is fully written), plus this drabblethon and

yuletide (and any other Christmas gift exchange that I feel drawn to join)....

I fear that one day I will wake up and my muse will move out. (It's happened before, LOL)
