Top 10
Inspired by [livejournal.com profile] hannanora , I decided to come up with my top ten albums...it's a bit, um, eclectic...tee hee

1. The Halo Soundtracks---I don't care which one I would have to take (though I would try to convince all three soundtracks should be counted as one :P) They've got top notch tracks, guitar for some good ol' rock, a chorus of men singers, and awesome creepy alien tracks.  Yeah, this soundtrack rocks my socks.

2. Natalie Cole, Take a Look--I love the 40s sound and I think she sounds great.

3. Metallica, Black Album--They are Metallica...what else can I say?  Favorite tracks: Holier Than Thou, Don't Tread on Me

4. Linkin Park: Hybrid Theory--Remember when they were good?  Yeah, I do too.  Saw them twice in concert.  Love the Chester singing/scream fusion with Mike's rapping.  Love it!

5. Salvador: So Natural--It was hard to pick one album since I like a few tracks from each of their albums, but if I had to take one, this would be it.  A Christian group with a Latin flare.  Muy bien! :D

6. No Doubt: Trapped in a Box--Yeah, the songs are goofy, but they are innocent fun and bouncy.

7. Howard Shore: The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings-- Love the movie, love the score, love the Sam.  II can actually see the movie playing in my mind when I hear this music. I <3 it. :D

8. The Offspring: Ixnay on the Hombre--Babe and I still will sing lines of these songs...because POP! there they are in our head.  "Mota." *snicker*

9. Various Artists: Now That's What I Call Christmas (Disc 1)--For any who know me, this should come as no surprise.  Christmas all year long, Baby! :D :D

10. Brian Setzer: The Dirty Boogie--Ah, the joys of swing music and killer guitar jams.

There we go....waaaaaaay TMI, I know, but now you know.

lol Glad to have inspired someone, for a change =D And I don't think it was that eclectic - I don't think I had a single band album on my list. And LotR music is awesome - as is the Sam!!! Honestly, Frodo wouldn't have achieved anything, if it weren't for Sam!

Sam=win, San Astin as Sam=double win (actually, I think the casting for the movie was spot on). Don't you just want to go to Sam and give him a big hug because he's just so...Sam? LOL

I remember when I read LOTR the first time, I read the Frodo/Sam storyline in TTT and ROTK, LOL. And then I read the Appendexes just to find out if Sam went to the Grey Havens. Yeah, I'm a nerd. LOL
