WHERE ARE THE WORDS?

Last year, I had written at least 40-50k.  This year? Maybe 15k. And that's a stretch.

I've got random outlines, but the motivation is lacking.

Maybe I can bribe my muse with strawberry shortcake. *sigh*

(I am considering signing up for the [livejournal.com profile] het_bigbang again so maybe that will get my muse into gear.)

It's always hard when that happens. O_o Sometimes it lasts days for me, and sometimes when I've gotten done with a huge project, my muse goes on vacation for months. I used to worry that it would never come back, but I've come to realize it's just recharging and then it'll hit me out of nowhere. It still doesn't make it any easier when all I want to do is WRITE.

Of course, maybe the strawberry shortcake bribe will work...

I'm just glad I have my quilting. If I can't get creative, I get grumpy. >:(
