Me: Writing action scenes are so hard. I just want to write "John killed the Elite" and move on, but that sounds lame.
Babe: What do you have so far?
Me: "The Elite snarled from behind him, 'You will die by my hand, Demon.'
        'Not today.' John raised his fist and slammed it into the Sangheili's face."
Babe: *gives me a :O face* Whoa.
Me: *laughs* Um, yeah, no flowery romance for me.
