Girl Power, Baby!

halfamoon is getting ready for their fourteen days of awesomeness and so am I.

I'm ready to make the mother of all "Girl Power" Icons. (I'm gonna change the background slightly from what I used the last time.) So, give me your favorite female characters--movies, TV, video games, cartoons, anime, whatever. As long as I can find a picture, then it's all good.

If there is a picture that you think is particularly awesome, link it in the comments and I'll see if I can make it work in the icon.

Here be some suggestions - Sam carter, Janet Frasier, Vala Mal Doran (SG -1); Elizabeth Weir, Teyla Emmagen, Jennifer Keller, Laura Cadman, Jeannie Miller, Kate Heightmeyer (Stargate Atlantis), Temperance Brennan, Cammile Saroyan, Angela Montenegro (Bones - do you need pictures? I can take tons of screen captures if you want me to), Dana Scully and Monica Reyes of X Files; both Uhras, Kira neyres, Jadzia Dax, Kathryn Janeway, ..... basically all Star Trek ladies.... you need more ideas? What about Lisa Simpson from the Simpsons?

Also by looking at your tags I can suggest Princess Leia from Star Wars, Jesse from Pixar's Toy Story, Eve from Pixar's Wall-e, and Eowyn from LOTR.

And don't forget the mandatory Princess Zelda!

You also might just want to look at Disney Princesses that can be bamf like Mulan, Ariel, Pocahontas, and Jasmine.

All of them are awesome...I have my list of about, oh, 50 or so women/female characters but I'm trying to see what everyone comes up with. So if you have any other ideas, toss them my way. I know you've got a rockin' list of your own. I can't wait to see what you make. :D
