Meme time
What better way to distract myself from my first round of edits than a meme?  Snagged with love from [livejournal.com profile] beth_soprano

Post the first line of a story here, and I'll write the next five (or so).

Fandoms: Alice in Wonderland, CSI:NY, Fringe, Halo, anything Pixar, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Wars, Stargate: Atlantis

ETA: Anyone want to explain what, exactly, fandom secrets are? Saw it over in a comm and was totally baffled...

TNG: Space... The Final Frontier.

Fandom Secrets and the like are comms where people can either, through a comment thread either anonymous things about fandom that they like/don't like, or do it in macro form and post those in a screened post afterwhich a Mod will make an offical (oftentimes monthly) post and post those secrets. The type of secrets on fandom secret type comms can cause quite a bit of fandom wank.

I had no idea either about fandom secrets, but I get the sense from [livejournal.com profile] fandomsecrets that you confess anonymously to things about your fandom that you might not otherwise feel comfortable confessing. Scrolling through some of them are really funny and some are more serious.

Halo: "John never expected he'd be working together with an Unggoy."

Fandom Secrets is a fandom version of Post Secret. From what I'm given to understand, a lot of the secrets are posted by trolls.

"Why is it that I'm always with you when something like this happens?"

(pick a fandom!)

Star Trek: The Next Generation

There were days when Jean-Luc Picard wished he could let his frustration show without being worried about the ramifications.
